Job summary

Epstein in Chicago is looking for a Project Field Engineer to support the Construction team on large projects across the United States. This role involves coordinating site activities, maintaining schedules, ensuring quality, and fostering client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience, and possess strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Competitive benefits and a salary range of $70,000–$90,000 annually are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of field experience on large projects for a General Contractor or Construction Manager.
• Working knowledge of field construction systems, practices, safety, and procedures.
• Knowledge of basic scheduling techniques (e.g., Critical Path Method).
• 30-hour OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance client, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Assure construction schedules are maintained by trade contractors.
• Prepare required field documentation and reports.
• Resolve field coordination issues among contractors.
