Job summary

Spicer Group in Georgia is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to support construction administration and inspection services on infrastructure projects. This role acts as the on-site representative, verifying conformance with plans, interpreting materials requirements, and communicating field conditions to the Project Manager and Construction Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related engineering field.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Construction inspection experience preferred for municipal, utility, and transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Observe work in progress to verify conformance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare sketches of installations and incorporate field changes into master plans.
• Maintain daily inspection reports and coordinate with Project Manager and Construction Manager.
• Serve as on-site representative and liaison between client, contractor, and project team.
• Work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision.
