Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking an Field Credit Officer to onboard and manage businesses accessing our credit products.

You will grow the loan portfolio while ensuring profitability and timely repayment, evaluating applications using the 5 Cs—capacity, character, and capital—and applying our monitoring tools throughout the loan lifecycle. You will perform field visits, assess business books, inventory, and turnover, and provide recommendations to management on actions during disbursement and

Qualifications

• OND in business-related discipline is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of credit risk analysis; financial analysis is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard viable businesses to open Moniepoint business accounts.
• Engage customers to maximize account usage for credit access.
• Review and approve or decline loan requests with data-driven analysis.
• Conduct physical visits to evaluate books, turnover, and inventory.
• Meet gross loan portfolio targets and maintain portfolio profitability.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance and repayment activity.
• Perform other credit-related duties as assigned.
