Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. in Warsaw, NC is seeking a Feed Mill Maintenance Manager to oversee preventive maintenance and repairs of mill machinery, supervise maintenance staff, and drive a plant-wide PM program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 5+ years in maintenance
• 2+ years electrical troubleshooting, welding and plumbing
• Ability to read and speak English to read manuals and procedures

Responsibilities

• Direct daily maintenance activities and schedule work in assigned areas
• Supervise maintenance staff and contractors; provide training
• Develop and implement plant-wide PM program to maximize uptime
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of spare parts
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies; coordinate with departments
