Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of scheduling or project controls experience on construction projects.
• Experience with General Contractors or Owner's Representatives.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles.
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules.
• Ability to analyze schedule impacts, delays, and risks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and project reporting tools.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Support planning and scheduling across multiple federal projects.
• Review baseline schedules and analyze logic, durations, sequencing, critical path.
• Monitor project progress and evaluate schedule performance against milestones.
• Identify schedule variances, delays, and potential impacts to completion.
• Perform schedule risk analysis and recommend recovery strategies.
• Review contractor-submitted schedules for compliance with contracts.
• Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, look-ahead schedules, earned value metrics, and project control documentation.
• Participate in project meetings with federal clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Coordinate scheduling information across design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Support change order reviews, schedule impact analyses, and time extension evaluations.
• Assist project management teams with project forecasting, reporting, and overall project controls functions.
