Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Project Engineer to join the Tac Comm team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will lead as the engineering point of contact for factory execution, obsolescence management, and production sustainment across multiple radio product lines.

You will coordinate with Engineering and Operations to resolve technical issues and ensure production needs are met. Success requires strong communication, briefing skills, and the ability to translate complex data for engineers,

Qualifications

• Coordinate and lead technical execution across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with the systems development process: requirements, design, decomposition, integration, verification/validation.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and obtain/maintain SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across engineering and operations to ensure production needs are met.
• Own CAM cost and schedule performance and drive engineering actions.
• Represent Engineering in factory Tier meetings and communicate needs back to the organization.
• Prepare and present technical data to diverse audiences and leadership.
• Coordinate with factory partners for near‑term and long‑term planning.
