Job summary

The Executive Fleet Quality Inspector role is a contract assignment with Boeing Defense, Space & Security, located in San Antonio, TX. This position is 100% onsite and requires working on site at the listed location.

Responsibilities include inspecting electrical systems and components, implementing QA and safety plans, and ensuring conformance to contract specs. Preferred candidates have extensive aerospace inspection experience and may hold FAA Repairman credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting or working with aircraft electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, or related electrical installations.
• Minimum of 5 years of Aerospace Quality Inspection experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing product or process inspections.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections of electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, and related aircraft electrical installations to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Implements quality assurance and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
• Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services, or operations for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing ongoing reviews of work for compliance with requirements.
• Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner.
• Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished.
• Communicates deficiencies to proper persons.
• Maintains Quality Assurance files.
• Documents results of all inspections.
