Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters is seeking an on-site events assistant to help organize and execute events at Midway Golf. The role focuses on coordinating logistics, setup, and on-site management to ensure smooth delivery from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will work 15-20 hours weekly, primarily evenings and weekends, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients, vendors and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 15-20 hours per week, especially on nights and weekends.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with clients, vendors, and internal staff.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, bend, stand/sit for long periods of time, and going up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing and executing various events hosted at Midway Golf, ensuring all aspects of the event are well-coordinated and delivered smoothly.
• Setting up and taking down buffets and assisting service staff as needed
• Oversee event logistics, including event setup, signage, audiovisual requirements, and any other necessary arrangements.
• Provide on-site event management and coordinate with other event staff to ensure that all elements of the event run smoothly and according to plan from start to finish.
• Receive and process event payments in a timely and organized manner.
