Job summary

The candidate should have a strong background in environmental science/engineering, 5–10 years in manufacturing, and proficient MS Office skills to prepare and manage performance reports and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong regulatory compliance knowledge and data reporting.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate compliance status of mill operations to ensure regulatory compliance and permit conditions.
• Read, comprehend, and interpret federal and state regulations applicable to the mill site.
• Establish productive relationships with operations, maintenance, regulatory agencies, and contractors.
• Identify problem areas, develop corrective actions, and follow through to completion.
• Prepare compliance reports for submission to regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with operations and contractors for required compliance tasks.
