Job summary

ELOS Environmental, an Aventia Company, seeks a part-time Environmental Compliance Inspector to perform on-site North Carolina inspections ensuring debris removal complies with project permits. The role requires travel, GPS documentation, and daily photo evidence with GPS tagging.

You will review project specs, enforce contractor adherence to guidelines, and report spills or hazards promptly, using an iPad and GPS-enabled devices. Qualified applicants must have a biology/ecology-related degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or advanced degree in biology, ecology, rangeland sciences, wildlife management or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites ensuring debris removal complies with project permits.
• Document GPS coordinates, debris footprints, and photo evidence daily.
• Review project specs and coordinate with the supervisor and Contractor.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE are used; address hazards.
• Report spills immediately and maintain logs with GPS data.
