Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an Engineering Technician – Product Analysis in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on supporting product testing, manufacturing processes, and quality initiatives on the production floor.

The engineer will inspect and analyze issues, perform root-cause analysis, and work with Engineering, Production, and Quality to improve processes and ensure conformity to customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in manufacturing/remanufacturing/engineering technician or product-analysis.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Comfort with hand tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to enter and analyze data; update production docs.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and QA involvement.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/OSHA standards beneficial.
• Experience with automotive electrical components is a plus.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disassemble, test, and analyze failed or warranty items.
• Perform root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Review live production data to spot issues and improvements.
• Create/update production work orders and instructions.
• Conduct process audits and ensure procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with Quality to meet standards.
• Document testing results and communicate findings.
• Set up and operate testing equipment with accurate data.
• Track rejected units and classify failures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and escalate maintenance as needed.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and continuous-improvement projects.
