Job summary

The Employee Connect is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist in Chattanooga, TN to support hospital surgical teams by keeping endoscopic equipment ready and properly handled for each case. This contract requires sterile processing or OR equipment experience and a commitment to patient safety in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role is a full-time, onsite position with weekday schedules at hospital accounts, lasting 151 days with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in sterile processing, OR support or biomedical equipment.
• Understanding of sterile technique and infection control.
• Able to pass hospital vendor credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test and troubleshoot endoscopic equipment before cases.
• Support surgical teams with equipment questions during procedures.
• Inspect instruments and track repairs and loaners.
• Train hospital staff on proper care and handling.
• Maintain equipment inventory and service records.
• Follow infection control and hospital safety policies.
