Job summary

ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC is seeking PRN EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedics to join our on-site health team at an H-E-B distribution facility in Houston, TX. You will respond to on-site emergencies, provide injury care, conduct health surveillance, and support occupational health programs.

Ideal candidates hold current licensure and CPR/AED, can stand/walk/sit for shifts, and communicate professionally with teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing or be able to obtain before start.
• CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain before start; provide proof.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit during entire shift.
• Professional in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency medical situations on-site according to established protocols.
• Provide injury care, medical triage, and escalation to higher-level care as needed.
• Conduct safety checks and report health and safety concerns to EH&S.
• Maintain and inspect emergency medical equipment to ensure functionality.
• Perform drug screenings and other health surveillance procedures as required.
• Collaborate with medical and safety teams to support injury prevention programs.
• Assist in documentation of medical care provided, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support clinical staff with follow-up care.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and the client about ongoing health initiatives.
• Maintain proper inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is stocked.
