Job summary

Hilscher-Clarke is seeking an Onsite Project Manager for a full-time, in-person role based in the Columbus metro area. The candidate will read engineering docs, manage relationships with GC/Subs, and coordinate cross-trade work to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

The role requires 3–5 years in electrical contracting or construction, plus 3–5 years in project management, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree in an electrically related curriculum or hands-on electrical experience
• 3-5 years’ experience in Electrical Contracting, Construction, or similar fields
• 3-5 years’ of Project Management experience

Responsibilities

• Read and process engineering documentation such as plan-view drawings and installation instructions
• Relationship building with General Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, and HC Team Members
• Connect oral communication and direction with written details to create estimable systems
• Perform detailed take-offs to generate material lists for quotes and purchasing
• Review 3D modeling to determine material routes and quantities for quotes
• Survey potential sites for suitability and cost
• Verify vendor and subcontractor estimates fall within scope and include needed items
• Coordinate work with other trades and monitor progress
• Schedule planning, tracking, and delays management
• Other job duties as assigned
