Job summary

Industrial Electric, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Project Manager to lead our project teams onsite. The role oversees construction activities, cost control, scheduling, permits, and closeout processes on industrial, commercial, and pharmaceutical projects.

The candidate will coordinate with clients, subs, and government officials; enforce safety standards; and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality that meets IEI and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
• Develop a schedule for all phases of the build.
• Assist with permits, due dates, and communicate schedule impact.
• Develop and implement project specific processes and procedures.
• With the Project Superintendent, lead and coordinate day-to-day construction activities.
• Manage project costs through ongoing evaluations of labor, material, and equipment.
• Interface with all departments to resolve issues.
• Act as liaison between client, company, subcontractors, and officials.
• Ensure safety measures and requirements are met.
• Ensure substantial completion as defined in specifications.
• Assist with submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals and warranties for closeout.
