Job summary

PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric) in Redding, CA, seeks an Associate Level Project Engineer to provide engineering, project management, and technical support for small to medium capital improvements to power generation facilities.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering from an accredited curriculum in the US or equivalent.
• Active E.I.T. certification is required.
• Active California PE license is required.
• At least 18 months of engineering or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with discipline engineering and project management for small to medium capital projects.
• Prepare design criteria, calculations, and document reviews with QA checks.
• Support procurement, vendor drawings, and field construction coordination.
• Coordinate with O&M staff and contractors to ensure safety and quality.

Education

BS Engineering degree (ABET-accredited)

Engineering-In-Training (E.I.T.) Certification

California Professional Engineer (PE) license

18+ months in engineering/project management
