Job summary

Trueline in Fremont, CA is seeking an Electrical Power Design Engineer to own building electrical systems from concept through construction for data centers, manufacturing, healthcare, and large commercial projects. You will collaborate with project managers, estimators, field leadership, and clients, producing design-ready drawings and solving constructability challenges on each project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of U.S.-based electrical design experience.
• Hands-on experience creating electrical designs and construction documents.
• Commercial, mission-critical, or industrial building electrical design experience.
• Knowledge of power distribution, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, equipment sizing, and load calculations.
• Experience with NEC and U.S. building codes.
• Experience with Revit.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Ability to coordinate with architects, MEP disciplines, contractors, and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical systems from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, field leadership, clients, and disciplines.
• Respond to RFIs and review submittals.
• Provide engineering support during construction.
• Prepare drawings for construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
