Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Bridgeton, NJ seeks a Maintenance Technician focused on electrical and control systems for food manufacturing. On-site role requiring documenting systems, diagnosing issues, and coordinating Electro-Mechanics across shifts.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• High school/military training with practical field experience in electrical control systems.
• Experience with installation of machine and electrical control systems.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system documentation.
• Basic to advanced troubleshooting of Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi systems.
• Strong mathematical calculation and unit conversion skills.
• Ability to complete maintenance work forms and document work orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control issues.
• Coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts; provide training as needed.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on batching and process control systems (networks, AC/DC, servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics).
• Assist with on-site/off-site support for equipment troubleshooting.
• Maintain secondary systems (steam, water, air, electrical power, refrigeration, HVAC, emissions).
• Keep accurate records per work orders and backlog.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards and company procedures.
