Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our on-site team in Milwaukee, WI. You will pre-assemble electrical kits from inventoried components and perform light fabrication tasks in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes blueprint reading, measuring devices, problem solving, and teamwork. Candidates must be physically able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and pass a competency test plus pre-employment physical including drug screen.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and bill of materials with accuracy.
• Able to learn and follow GPC manufacturing processes.
• Able to read measuring devices and use basic inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise on the line.
• Motivated to learn and advance within the company.
• Able to communicate and work well with others.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.
• Physically fit to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Pre-assemble electrical kits from inventoried components and GPC fabricated components.
• Light fabrication work including drilling, forming, wire striping and crimping.
• Material handling within the line and work cell.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Production Supervisors, and Team Leads.
• Assist with installation needs for various electrical equipment.
