Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Safety Manager to lead onsite safety for a large electrical/data center construction project. You will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure OSHA 1926 compliance, and uphold client and company safety standards throughout the life of the project.

You will partner with project leadership, field supervision, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to conduct audits, investigations, and corrective actions, and to maintain comprehensive safety documentation and training

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 regulations and construction safety best practices.
• Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective action planning.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite safety activities for a major electrical/data center construction project.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1926, company policies, and client safety requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses (JHAs).
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, training records, and compliance logs.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to field personnel.
• Collaborate with project management and field leadership to proactively identify and mitigate jobsite risks.
• Foster a strong safety-first culture across employees, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
