Job summary

OMCO, a MacLean-Fogg Company, is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Generalist to support our Wickliffe, OH manufacturing operations. You will help implement EHS programs, strengthen regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.

You will work with the EHS Manager and manufacturing teams to meet Mission Zero safety goals through hands-on assessments, training, and risk reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0–2 years of experience in EHS or related field in lean manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to convey safety information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, and improvement of EHS programs and management systems.
• Conduct daily safety and environmental audits and production-floor walkthroughs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Maintain EHS records, training records, and documentation.
• Review policies and perform risk assessments to guide mitigation actions.
• Deliver EHS training to promote safe practices and compliance.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis; track actions to closure.
• Apply EHS knowledge to drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.
