Job summary

Crystal Stairs, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Early Head Start - ECE Coordinator to implement the agency's early childhood and education systems, ensuring compliance with Head Start frameworks and school readiness.

You will guide curriculum, supervise Site Supervisors, and lead data collection and assessment processes. This role requires a Bachelor’s in ECE/Child Development, at least two years of admin experience in a child development program, and a valid California Driver License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ECE/Child Development or related field; Masters preferred.
• Minimum two years administrative experience in a child development program.
• Must hold Child Development Program Director Permit; CLASS certification preferred.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills; conflict resolution experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor program policies related to curriculum.
• Oversee Child Assessment Systems and data timelines; support site staff.
• Collect data to support School Readiness Goals and ECERS/class initiatives.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure Head Start compliance.
• Lead investigations of incidents and liaise with Education Manager.
