OptumCare in Austin, TX is seeking an Onsite EAP Counselor for a per diem, non-exempt role paid hourly. You will provide onsite behavioral health services, conduct assessments, refer to programs, and support HR with workplace issues.
The role requires a Masters or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field, a current independent license, and at least 3 years of experience. Onsite availability is required, with travel as needed.

The Onsite EAP Counselor is a professional position responsible for providing onsite services to either a dedicated customer or customers in our overall book of business. Responsibilities range from assessment and referral, management consultations, training, and critical incident response. An Onsite EAP Counselor may also provide consultation to HR, program managers and supervisors on workplace and organizational issues

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
