Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Massachusetts motor vehicle operator’s license required.
• Able to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Able to read, write and understand basic instructions, verbal and written.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic functions.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach throughout the workday.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push/pull wheeled carts up to 300 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates light trucks, vans and other vehicles to transport supplies, including large box trucks.
• Operates pallet mover.
• Loads and unloads supplies and secures them in the truck.
• Delivers supplies to main campus loading docks and offsite customers.
• Completes delivery records accurately.
• Participates in all Material Handler/Storekeeper activities including receiving, stocking, picking and delivering supplies.
• Participates in periodic physical inventory of supply locations.
