OASYS, INC., a leading-edge government contractor in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Air Force customer onsite at Redstone Arsenal. You will contribute to the system engineering effort across the full software development lifecycle and work with MBSE tools.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, a STEM bachelor's degree, active DoD Secret Clearance, and knowledge of cybersecurity standards (RMF/NIST 800-53).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields or related discipline; experience may substitute for degree.
• 3–5 years of systems engineering experience in DoD/Air Force context.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance highly desired.
• Experience with MBSE, Agile, and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the system engineering effort for a DoW software development project.
• Engage across the full software development lifecycle: requirements, architecture, integration, verification, validation.
• Model requirements digitally with MBSE tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo).
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues and drive program execution.
• Adhere to cybersecurity requirements including RMF/NIST 800-53 and DoD security guidelines.
