Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a Per Diem position at our Boston facility, performing ultrasound exams and contributing to patient care quality. The role requires 0–1 year of ultrasound experience and ARDMS/ARRT certification within 90 days.

The successful candidate will work onsite at 32 Fruit Street, collaborating with clinical teams, and supporting QA and research initiatives while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or ARRT certification within 90 days.
• Ultrasound experience 0–1 year required.
• Proficient with imaging systems, EHR, PACS and hospital IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review exam orders using two identifiers.
• Explain procedures clearly, ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize workflow and scanner use.
• Perform ultrasound exams and assist in training staff and students.
• Support departmental QA, research and improvement projects.
