Job summary

Westlake is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Lenexa, KS onsite to keep production equipment running efficiently in a fast-paced plant.

You will perform semi-skilled duties across plumbing, carpentry, electrical, fabrication and machine lubrication, and support safety and equipment upkeep.

This role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with a day shift and rotating night schedule. Occasional after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical and controls tasks.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Perform semi-skilled duties in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, fabrication, mechanical repairs, lubrication, painting, or plastering.
• Maintain, service, and conduct minor repairs on buildings and equipment.
• Organize, coordinate, and assist in managing maintenance programs and cost-effective inventory control.
• Assist in all service areas as needed.
• Under supervision, gain knowledge of equipment maintenance servicing and scheduling, vendor interaction, and related services.
• Other duties as assigned.
