You will join ASCENT as part of the data integration team, collaborating with analysts to map data sources, define extraction techniques, and ensure reliable pipelines across ERP/CRM landscapes. Strong Python, SQL, and API skills are essential for success in this client-facing role.

Qualifications

• 410 years of experience integrating enterprise systems and extracting data.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Ability to write efficient SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with APIs, enterprise integrations, and systems of record such as ERP and CRM.
• Familiarity with AI-related integration patterns such as Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Responsibilities

• Partner with business analysts to understand customer data requirements and extraction cadence.
• Identify data sources across customer system landscapes and define appropriate extraction techniques.
• Build, operate, and support production-grade data pipelines for AI workflows.
• Develop extractors that populate the Aptean semantic layer, including ontology nodes and relationships.
• Troubleshoot data extraction, transformation, and integration issues and improve reliability.
