Job summary

Iris Energy in Childress, Texas, is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Site Network Delivery to serve as the on-site owner’s representative for network infrastructure on a data center campus. You will oversee low-voltage contractors, drive meet‑me room readiness, and ensure pathways, racks and power dependencies are built in from the start.

This field role requires 10+ years in telecommunications or data center construction, ability to read Division 27 drawings, and experience managing field

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in telecommunications, structured cabling or data center construction.
• Ability to read and challenge Division 27 drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on experience managing low-voltage and fiber contractors in the field.
• Working knowledge of fiber test acceptance: Tier 1 insertion loss, Tier 2/OTDR, polarity and end-face inspection.
• Project administration skills: RFI and submittal logs, meeting minutes, action registers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single IREN voice to low-voltage and fiber contractors on scope, specification and acceptance.
• Drive meet-me room, entrance facility and network-room readiness, including conduit, pathways, racks and power to network racks.
• Maintain the campus network milestones in the Integrated Project Master Schedule and coordinate with construction teams.
• Conduct rough-in and trim inspections; verify installation, labeling and workmanship against specifications.
• Prepare telecom change-order packages for Director approval; review pay applications for network scope.
• Capture NetBox/DCIM data during construction and lead handover with operations.
• Develop day-to-day direction for Project Managers supporting network scope and provide performance feedback.
• Provide concise network status to the Director, Network Delivery and campus leadership.
