Google LLC in Haskell, TX is seeking a Facilities Technician to operate, monitor, and support critical data center facilities. You will inspect, maintain, and repair piping, electrical and mechanical systems while ensuring safety and efficiency across the data center environment.

You will work with contractors, read blueprints, and manage uptime for pumps, HVAC, UPS, generators, and distribution systems. The role requires non-standard hours and onsite work to meet operational needs.

Competenze

• 5 years of mechanical/ electrical infrastructure experience in industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use OSHA PPE and safety equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Mansioni

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems including piping and electrical/mechanical components.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians reading blueprints and conducting system tours.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of water pumps, HVAC, UPS, generators, and electrical distribution.
• Operate and respond to abnormal conditions in data center facilities.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new equipment.
