Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced facilities operations lead in Saline, Michigan, to oversee day-to-day mechanical plant operations and service delivery for critical HVAC infrastructure. This role focuses on uptime, safety, and adherence to Oracle standards within a 24/7 environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in mechanical operations, with 2–4+ years guiding technicians and vendors, plus knowledge of BMS, CMMS, DCIM, and related controls.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in mechanical plant operations or uptime-critical environments such as data centers, healthcare, industrial plants, or large facilities.
• 2–4+ years leading technicians or service providers in live operational settings.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, pumps, cooling towers and related controls.
• Experience with 24x7 operations, incident response, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with BMS, SCADA, DCIM and CMMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, maintenance, and service execution for mechanical and HVAC infrastructure.
• Own plant readiness, preventive maintenance, corrective work, inspections, and backlog management.
• Serve as site technical lead for mechanical systems, including incident escalation.
• Manage facilities technicians, contractors, and vendors with safety and SLA discipline.
• Drive troubleshooting for mechanical failures and performance degradation.
• Track KPIs: equipment availability, backlog health, MTTR, and action closure.
• Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, reliability, and controls teams on upgrades.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed.
