VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Psychiatrist for the G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson, Michigan. The Site Psychiatrist will provide diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and psychiatric consultation, with clinical direction and supervision of site staff.

Requirements include medical degree with psychiatric residency, current Michigan license, and a valid DEA number. Responsibilities cover assessment, treatment planning, therapy, and coordination of discharge and follow-up

Formación

• Must be a graduate of medical school with completed psychiatric residency.
• Licensed to practice psychiatry in Michigan.
• Current DEA number.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for inmates.
• Supervise treatment plans, discharge planning, and collaboration with staff.
• Deliver individual and group psychotherapy as appropriate.
• Manage medications and participate in Behavioral Health Unit activities.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
