Job summary

Onsite Control Systems Specialist at Brock Solutions Inc. based in Detroit, you will work on mission-critical controls systems for automotive manufacturing sites across the greater Detroit area.

You will troubleshoot PLC and HMI applications, design and program automated systems, and lead on-site commissioning while collaborating with engineers and customers to address processes and pain points. Extensive local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Background in Electrical Eng., Mechatronics, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and learn new technologies.
• Ladder Logic programming experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.

Local Travel

This role will require extensive onsite time within the greater Detroit area and Windsor Ontario.For interested candidates, travel beyond can be made available to join our teams during other high-profile events.

Your Role:

As an On‑site Control Systems Engineer, you’ll work on mission‑critical systems at our customers sites.You’ll collaborate with a talented team to:

• Troubleshoot and optimizePLC and HMI applications.

Qualifications Required:

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking motivated individuals with:

• A background inElectrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, or Industrial Engineering(college or university level).
• Exceptionalproblem‑solvingand communication skills.
• A passion for learning andadapting to new technologies.
• Programming experience Ladder Logic
• Ability to readelectrical schematics

Preferred Skills (Not Required, But a Plus!):

• Programming experience inC, C#, VBA, or SQL.
• Knowledge ofPLCs(ControlLogix, Siemens).
• Familiarity withHMIs(e.g., Factory Talk View, WinCC).
• Understanding ofIT/Networkingand database applications.
