Job summary

Talentify is hiring a Phlebotomist in Middletown, NJ for a contract position onsite. You will perform venipuncture, label specimens, and prepare samples for transport. You will also update patient information and handle specimens per required temperatures.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months' experience with pediatrics and geriatrics in hospital, clinic, or lab settings; phlebotomy certification is preferred. The role includes full onsite duties with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with Pediatrics & geriatrics in hospital/clinic/lab is mandatory
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary
• Update patient information accurately
• Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results
