Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking a Contract Network Administrator for an onsite 6–8 week engagement in Vancouver, WA. The role focuses on hands-on support for network infrastructure, server environments, security systems, and end-user connectivity in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in network or systems administration, experience with firewall and security solutions, and strong troubleshooting skills. Immediate start and onsite work are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Network/Systems Administration or related role.
• Experience with enterprise firewall and security solutions.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise firewall and network security platforms.
• Maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, VLANs, and wireless.
• Manage directory services, user accounts, and access policies.
• Administer Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services.
• Monitor performance and resolve connectivity and infrastructure issues.
• Support secure remote access for employees and partners.
• Execute backup, disaster recovery, and patch management procedures.
• Create and maintain network diagrams and technical docs.
• Utilize scripting/automation to improve operations.
