Job summary

Cowen Construction Inc. in Oklahoma is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations with the Building Team, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence across commercial mid-rise, industrial, retail, and multi-family projects.

You will coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, review drawings and specs, develop look-ahead plans, monitor progress, and address constructability issues to deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Solid communication skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work with Procore (construction management software).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages commercial project sites with focus on quality, schedule, safety, and budget.
• Inspects work in place against designs, plans, specs, subcontracts, and shop drawings.
• Documents jobsite details, reports daily progress, conducts toolbox talks, and leads look‑ahead planning.
• Coordinates multiple projects at varying locations as needed.
• Manages client expectations and addresses concerns or escalations professionally.
