Job summary

United Contractor Services is seeking a Jr. Construction Safety Manager to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring office and job-site staff are trained in safety programs and federal/state regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

Responsibilities include implementing safety programs daily, leading onsite safety training for employees and subcontractors, and maintaining a safe work environment. The position requires being on your feet ~80% of the time and regular out-of-state travel.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• This position requires regular out-of-state travel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate quality and productive leadership skills.
• Implementation of safety programs daily.
• Lead employee & subcontractor onsite training and organize workshops.
• This position may require being on your feet approximately 80% of the time.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
