Job summary

Weis Builders is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Project Superintendent and Project Manager on construction projects. The role combines on-site coordination with office tasks to ensure smooth project execution.

You will assist with schedules, permits, safety, cost tracking, and subcontractor coordination while building relationships with clients and vendors. A 4-year degree is required, along with experience using CMiC, Procore, or Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related construction field.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Strong teamwork and client-focused mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various project duties such as material take-offs, obtaining permits, preparing labor reports, and creating 2-week look-ahead schedules.
• Build strong relationships with clients, architects, and vendors to support project continuity and growth.
• Ensure a safe work environment by leading safety meetings, maintaining safety logs, and addressing safety concerns.
• Communicate effectively with the project team to resolve project issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment as needed.
• Apply Quality Control best practices to meet or exceed quality standards.
• Complete all required paperwork professionally and promptly.
• Support cost control by tracking labor hours and maintaining purchase order logs.
• Gain knowledge of building codes and ensure compliance across project activities.
