Job summary

SteerBridge, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee onsite upgrades for Electronic Health Record Modernization at Veterans Affairs facilities.

The role emphasizes scheduling, coordination among VA staff, IT/EHRM teams, architects, and contractors, and ensuring work meets VA standards with minimal disruption to patient care. The PM will manage schedules, safety compliance, and field activities in occupied facilities, reporting to a Regional Manager and coordinating with the

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of construction project management experience.
• Experience developing, reviewing, and tracking construction schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Familiar with submittals, RFIs, change orders, inspections, and progress reporting.
• Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and VA PIV badge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GC master schedule and milestones, identify delays, and support recovery planning.
• Provide status reports to COR, VA stakeholders, and leadership on time and accuracy.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders for schedule impact and compliance; maintain audit-ready files.
• Coordinate with VA staff, IT/EHRM, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues and maintain progress.
• Coordinate construction phasing to minimize disruption to hospital operations and patient care.
• Serve as onsite representative for VA and COR, with supervisory authority only as authorized.
• Conduct daily/weekly site inspections; document deficiencies and track timely resolution.
• Monitor safety plan adherence to OSHA and VA requirements; report concerns.
