Job summary

Palacios Marine & Industrial Coatings, Inc. in Texas seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily activities on assigned projects, ensure safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance across chemical plant and industrial job sites.

You will lead field crews, coordinate subcontractors, manage resources, prepare reports, and support change orders, with strong communication and safety focus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction projects, especially in industrial settings.
• Strong scheduling and safety compliance knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee construction activities from project start through completion
• Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, site requirements, and regulatory standards
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule daily work activities to meet project milestones and deadlines
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure proper allocation and productivity
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date job site documentation, reports, and records
• Assist with change order documentation, pricing support, and evaluating schedule impacts
• Coordinate closely with supervisors, engineers, inspectors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress
• Provide leadership and direction to field personnel, ensuring clear communication and expectations
• Participate in meetings both in-person and virtually?
• Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and communication
