Job summary

Palacios Marine & Industrial Coatings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee field execution across multiple projects, lead Superintendents, and coordinate with Project Managers to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities include staffing, planning, resource allocation, risk management, and reporting. Applicants should have 7+ years in construction, 3+ in leadership, industrial experience, ability to read drawings and contracts, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible construction experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction leadership role such as Superintendent, General Superintendent, Construction Manager, or equivalent.
• Industrial construction experience in mechanical, civil, structural, coatings, scaffolding, piping, or related services preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, contracts, subcontracts, and codes.
• Ability to manage budgets, labor performance, production reports, and schedule impacts to make operational decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field execution and performance across multiple projects.
• Provide leadership and accountability to Superintendents and field supervision.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and clients to align field work with schedules and budgets.
• Identify and address field risks, constraints, and changes; implement corrective actions.
• Plan manpower, supervision, equipment, and resources across projects; manage mobilizations/demobilizations.
