Job summary

Pipestone Repairs & Maint PT is seeking a Construction Intern to support planning, coordination, and execution of site projects. The role offers hands-on exposure from design through completion on onsite projects.

You will assist the Construction Project Manager with daily coordination, documentation, and progress tracking while learning vendor coordination and basic cost monitoring in a real construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related program.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and site practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Help monitor construction progress, timelines, and quality standards.
• Assist with site visits, inspections, and documentation of project status.
• Support design and engineering phases (drawing, specs review, change tracking).
• Prepare weekly reports and project updates for leadership.
• Assist with vendor coordination, material tracking, and basic cost monitoring.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, permits, and compliance docs.
• Participate in team meetings and learn negotiations with contractors and suppliers.
• Perform additional administrative and project support duties as assigned.
