Berger Communities is seeking a Community Manager for Village Square Apartments in Bensalem, PA. You will lead the onsite team, drive leasing, occupancy, and retention, and manage the financial performance of the community.

You will build a welcoming resident experience, handle budgeting and capital planning, and ensure rent collection and regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes ownership, relationship-building, and delivering exceptional results for residents and the property.

Qualifications

• Property management or multifamily housing experience.
• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team.
• Strong leasing, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing budgets and financial performance preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall financial performance of the community.
• Set and achieve leasing, occupancy, and retention goals.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing onsite team.
• Handle budgeting, expenses, and capital planning.
• Oversee the full resident lifecycle, from prospect to renewal.
• Ensure rent collection and manage delinquency and legal processes as needed.
• Partner with the Service Manager to maintain curb appeal, apartment readiness, and community standards.
• Stay informed on the Cleveland multifamily market and competitive properties.
• Create a positive resident experience through strong customer service and community engagement.
• Drive leasing success through marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs.
