At RealManage, we are always getting better.About the RoleThe Onsite Community Association Manager (CAM) is the key ambassador of RealManage. The CAM manages the daily operations of a community association, while ensuring professional services and outstanding customer satisfaction in line with the service level agreement and the company's guiding principles.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to collaborating closely with the DCAM and Board of Directors, support community operations, resolve issues, promote community harmony, enforce deed restrictions, and enhance the value of the community.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for compliance with all the community’s policies/procedures as defined by the Board of DirectorsPlans, develops and approves operational policies, procedures, methods and regulations related to general operating proceduresDirects the work of all department managersPrimary driver in the development of the annual operating, cash, and capital budgets. Develop periodic checkpoints to assess compliance of the published budget.Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly financial reports for the Board of DirectorsCoordinates the development of long-range and annual business plans aligned with association by-laws and policiesOversee the impact and effect of association policies/programs/processes. Recommendations for changes as neededMonitors quality of association products and services to ensure maximum member and guest satisfactionSecures and protects all the association assetsEstablishes and maintains on-going dialogue with members to elicit input on Association direction and improvementsCoordinates with Board of Directors on the development and implementation of all strategic plansSECONDARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Plans, develops and approves specific operational programs, procedures, methods, rules and regulations in concert with general policiesEvaluates committee activities that report to the General ManagerEnsures compliance with purchasing policies and proceduresProvide counsel to the Management staff to ensure all employees are properly trained, supervised, scheduled and are knowledgeable of their responsibilitiesDevelops, maintains, and disseminates a basic management philosophy to guide all association personnel towards optimal operating resultsSupports internal controlsOther duties as directedDisclaimerThis description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of this position.Job QualificationEDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSCMCA or state-equivalent certifications desired.Must have a valid driver's license.Minimum 2-3 years in property management / community management experience, in addition to other professional work experiences that demonstrate leadership capabilities.Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team.Experienced in managing complex developer portfolios and relationships.Strong understanding of community association business and financial statements.Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.High integrity, honesty, professionalism, and customer service orientation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external customers.Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Physical RequirementsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, computer, and printer.Constantly positions self to maintain files in file cabinets.The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
