Premier Inn Hotels LLC (UAE) is seeking a hands-on Backend Java Developer to support a highly technical fraud risk application. You will design and implement enterprise backend services using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Develop and support applications running on AWS.
• Work with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, and EKS.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot database issues.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support batch-processing applications and data workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, compliance, and business teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development activities.
• Contribute to application reliability, performance, and maintainability.
