Job summary
JARP Industries, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a CNC Programmer for the 1st shift (full-time, onsite) to support our manufacturing operations.
Under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programming Team Lead, you will develop and program computerized machining processes, write programs for new parts, and run CAM simulations. Qualifications
- Programming education from a vocational/technical school or 2 years of equivalent experience.
- Experience with CNC programming and CAM software.
- Knowledge of tooling, speeds and feeds.
Responsibilities
- Write machining programs for new parts as assigned by the Senior Programmer.
- Maintain routings for current machines and review ECNs for changes.
- Determine machining processes from drawings and select tools, speeds and feeds.
- Write programs for parts with CAM software and run simulations.
- Create setup sheets for programmed parts and test for quality and safety.
- Evaluate and optimize programs for efficiency and accuracy.
- Review and implement improvements to code as needed.
