Job summary

Cedars-Sinai's Chuck Lorre School of Allied Health Sciences seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Educator to translate laboratory expertise into classroom excellence. You will design and deliver curricula, assessments, and experiential learning to prepare students for professional certification and clinical practice.

You will collaborate with the AHS Program Director to coordinate rotations and ensure alignment with accreditation standards, while mentoring students and contributing to program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as specified in Education.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience with at least 1 year in the area of specialty.
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license or limited license upon hire; Histo Certificate preferred; AHI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and revises orientation manuals, course materials, lectures, and tests to ensure curriculum meets standards.
• Develops and teaches introductory and core courses and online instruction.
• Advises and teaches students, leads lab skill demonstrations, and supports student certification objectives.
• Oversees student clinical rotations and collaborates with program director on training quality.
