Qualifications

• Master's degree in teaching or professional discipline.

• Terminal degree/certificate in the professional discipline where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers courses as needed.
• Evaluates student learning outcomes for expected course and program competencies.
• Participates in classroom and/or clinical instruction.
• Communicates institutional and program policies and goals to students, faculty, staff, and clinical affiliates as appropriate.
• Communicates course learning outcomes and expected student competencies.
• Stays current with advances in knowledge base, teaching and learning strategies, professional practice, trends, issues, and curricular resources.
• Participates in assessment of Program Learning Outcomes as needed.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned or directed.

Education

Master's degree in teaching or professional discipline

Master's Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline or related discipline
