Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering drawings and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD)
• Develop engineering plans for a wide range of civil projects
• Review and refine designs throughout project development
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations and industry standards
• Provide technical input throughout design development
• Prepare technical specifications and engineering reports
• Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects
• Support accurate project documentation throughout the design process
• Conduct site visits and gather field data required for design development
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and clients to understand and execute project objectives
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input and support
• Senior/management-level responsibilities may include managing project lifecycles and budgets, mentoring junior staff, and supervising junior designers for licensed/management roles
