Job summary

Unika Health, an iHealth Labs subsidiary, seeks a Care Assistant to support clinical and technical tasks in a fast-paced primary care setting in Weimar, CA.

You will help manage patient care on-site and online, teach patients to use medical devices and the app, and coordinate with providers to ensure smooth clinic operations. This role offers on-site work and opportunities for clinical hours to support medical training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above is required.
• Exceptional communication and meticulous attention to detail.
• Empathy and patience when interacting with the elderly.
• Familiarity with medical procedures and terminology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care under supervision and follow established protocols.
• Operate medical devices and help patients use the mobile app, troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain patient records in electronic health records accurately.
• Coordinate with clinical team to manage patient flow and appointments.
• Handle clinic inventories and supplies; participate in safety and infection control.
• Conduct outreach calls to schedule appointments and provide health education.
